Video game developers will often go to great lengths to help players understand the basic mechanics of their games. Tutorial missions, pop-up hints, on screen guides even paperback manuals back in the day are all tools used to help teach players on how to play the game. Games like Final Fantasy take this concept to the extreme with nearly half the gameplay comprising of tutorials.
